Happy 100 Days!

Today is very special because it's The Library Mistress' 100th day.

I started blogging ages ago but book blogging is very new to me. I rarely do reviews and if ever I do review, I just endlessly talk about things I felt, thought or whatever comes to mind, never of those methodically crafted masterpieces other reviewers do. But it seems that my thoughts are somehow valid for this blog is now a hundred days old and with almost 15, 000 page views! (Thank you!)

For a reluctant book blogger, I find that this already is a milestone and I want to mark it with a giveaway.

I've thought about this for a while and realized that the reason I'm book blogging is because I love to read and the reason why I love to read is well, good books. So, let me give you all a chance to win a good book.

Last year, I was given a chance to moderate a discussion for Goodreads - The Filipino Group and this was the book we agreed to read and tackle.

I even made a fan art that also served as our poster for the event:
Here is the blurb from Goodreads:

What you want is not always what you get.
Even when your wishes come true

Andi desperately hopes her long lost half-brother Bernardo will be as mad on basketball as she is. But when he steps off the plane from the Philippines, she cannot believe her eyes. She hasn't seen him for ten years, but even so, how did he get to be EIGHT FOOT TALL? An eight-foot tall boy who is about to crash into her life with his size 22 feet.

But Bernardo is not what he seems.

Bernardo is a hero, Bernardo works miracles, and Bernardo has an amazing story to tell.

A bittersweet story, funny, sad, and magical.

This lovely story about basketball, the Philippines and UK opened my eyes about cultural differences, superstitious beliefs, gigantism and more importantly sibling love and I want you to experience it as well.

I'm giving away two copies of this book via the Rafflecopter below.
The orange paperback is the Philippine edition while the blue hardcover edition is the one printed in UK.

This is for PH residents only. I promise to have an international giveaway soon!
